Introducing the new system of monitoring the age of our products: Total Age Management (TAM)
We are running a pilot project looking at the comprehensive management of the age of our products: Total Age Management (TAM). This system is based on regularly monitoring the age of our products at all stages of their lifecycle.
The aim of this initiative is to ensure that the age of the product on the market is always below the defined specifications of the primary age. This means we can provide our customers and consumers with the freshest products, and the best standard and quality.
As our products are delivered from the warehouse to our customers (distributors, wholesale and large customers), it's both necessary and important that our customers are involved in TAM. It’s crucial that outlets stock products which are of corresponding primary age. Our team educates customers about TAM and good storage practices to ensure that only the freshest products are found on the shelves of retail stores.
During 2015 the project grew into a regularly implemented process, following strict criteria from the Coca‑Cola HBC Group. Results are reported every month to the highest ranking executives at a local level as well as to the Coca‑Cola HBC Group.
