The Faculty and the company signed a new agreement on strategic partnership

The Faculty of Organisational Sciences and Coca‑Cola HBC Serbia marked the 10th anniversary of successful cooperation and signed a new agreement on the continuation of their strategic partnership. In the past 10 years, more than 4,500 students have participated in various training and exchange programs, and more than 150 of the company’s managers have shared their know-how and expertise. The students have had an opportunity to visit the company in Belgrade, learn about its production and business operation and more than 10 times participate in eight competitions in preparing case studies.

“The Strategic Partnership with Coca‑Cola HBC Serbia project was launched 10 years ago, with an idea of long-term cooperation. I am very glad that after so many years we still cooperate with the same intensity. We have jointly recognised a lack of practical experience as one of major issues of today’s educational system, and our long-term cooperation is an indicator of our shared objective of enabling students to, in addition to theoretical knowledge they gain at the Faculty, also undergo best-class practice in Coca‑Cola HBC Serbia” – said Prof. Dr Milija Suknović, the Faculty of Organisational Sciences Dean.

The anniversary celebration included a range of events with the “10 years of cooperation for the future” slogan, where students had an opportunity to learn about the company’s business operation and innovation in various sectors.

“The continuation of excellent cooperation with the Faculty of Organisational Sciences for us means invaluable exchange of knowledge and new youth energy, which is of vital importance for the progress of both the company and the community. Ten years ago, we were among the first to recognise the significance of cooperation with university students and today we are proud to say that together we have established a win-win partnership - students get an opportunity to learn from us, from our international experience, and we to expand the Coca‑Cola family with young people who are future leaders of change,” noted Svetoslav Atanasov, Coca‑Cola HBC General Manager upon signing the agreement on partnership.

Coca‑Cola HBC Serbia has recently revised its strategy and decided to provide major contribution to the community via support to professional development of youth. By launching the Coca‑Cola Youth platform, the company has strengthened the existing programs of education, internship and recruitment: Coca‑Cola Youth Empowered, Coke Summership, RISE management trainee program and Futurefor#5. Furthermore, we have continued building cooperation with faculties in Serbia, as confirmed by the continuation of our strategic partnership with the Faculty of Organisational Sciences.
